Balloon Glass for Gin

Looking for the perfect glass for Gin Tonic or a cocktail? In our shop, you'll find exactly what you need. It makes a huge difference whether you choose the right glass or just any container for your drink.

Balloon Glass with Tradition

Even in earlier times, glasses were crafted with great care and effort from raw materials such as sand. In principle, it's still the same today: the glassblower shapes a bulbous vessel from liquid raw glass. The bigger the bowl, the more the contents can later unfold their aroma. The size of the opening determines how much scent stays inside or escapes upwards. If you nose over a wide-rimmed glass, the aroma reaches your nose unhindered, and the same applies to a goblet. If the opening is small and the bowl large, the drink develops a mature bouquet.

Glasses with a Stem Have Style

Sometimes alcoholic drinks need to stay cool, and sometimes they benefit from a little warmth. If your glass has a long stem, the drink stays untouched by the warmth of your hand. A short stem, on the other hand, brings the vessel closer to your hand, allowing the aroma to unfold as you enjoy your drink.

Your Gin Glass for Gin Tonic

How do you or your guests like your gin best? With tonic or neat? Fancy an aromatic, citrussy cocktail? A balloon glass with plenty of volume, meaning a generous bowl, is ideal for this. Take your time and try a Copa glass – your cocktail sits right under your nose, the carbonation from the tonic water escapes quickly, and you have plenty of "room" for the spicy juniper character to develop. Zesty garnishes, as the Spanish love them, really come into their own here.

Enjoying Gin Neat

The special gin glass is a narrow yet bulbous balloon glass. The nosing glass has a small opening and looks delicate, but don't be fooled – it packs a punch! Here, the aroma becomes truly concentrated, letting you catch the irresistible scent with its finest notes. You can sample several flavours and will be amazed time and again. These glasses are an absolute must for your bar.
