When you're sitting together with family or friends in the garden or in the party cellar during summer, there's nothing worse than warm drinks.
Even if you don't have a fridge available in your home bar, this container is a great solution for chilling drinks. So that no one at your party misses out on a cool drink, this handy bar helper is just what you need.
How do bottle coolers work?
Commercial bottle coolers are a must-have for every pub and bar. These coolers are designed to keep bottled drinks at the perfect temperature. At an event, they're ideal for chilling wine, sparkling wine and non-alcoholic drinks.
Bottle coolers are available in various designs. They're suitable for all types of drinks. A cooler like this makes a fantastic eye-catcher at a wedding, when it's used to chill a bottle of top-quality champagne, refreshing rosé or white wine. The cooler keeps the drink pleasantly cool for many hours. Generally speaking, a bottle cooler is a double-walled container with excellent insulating properties. Cooling is achieved either with ice cubes, via a rechargeable battery, or through a mains connection. Electric ice coolers are powered via a mains cable and keep drinks cold for as long as they're switched on. They can also be used to chill down warm bottles of sparkling wine and wine. A spacious ice box, on the other hand, offers plenty of room to hold bottles of any size. The ice cubes can then be used for cocktails and soft drinks at a celebration.
Materials
Bottle coolers are made from various materials. The elegant versions are made of porcelain, stainless steel and glass. For private use, containers made of plastic and clay are also common. Each material has its own advantages and characteristics. Conventional bottle coolers have a diameter of between 12 and 13 centimetres, making them ideal for wine and sparkling wine bottles. It's also worth noting that you can choose between models with active cooling, which use ice cubes, cooling packs or a mains connection to keep drinks cold, or passive coolers made from insulating materials, which keep cold drinks from the fridge at drinking temperature for a while.
