Jack Daniels Lynchburg Lemonade Glasses, Set of 6, Mason Jar, 0.48 L, with Handle and Lid

Thick glass, a square-sided body, a sturdy handle, and a black screw-top lid: These Mason jars look like they’ve already spent a few summers on a porch in Tennessee. And that’s exactly the vibe they bring to your table. Six jars, each holding 0.48 liters —which, by the way, is pretty much exactly one American pint.

Why is it actually called a Mason jar?

Because a certain John Landis Mason patented a canning jar with a threaded neck and screw-on lid in 1858—a small revolution for any household looking to preserve fruits and vegetables. For generations, the jar sat in American pantries until, at some point, someone had the obvious idea to add a handle and simply drink from it. Today, the Mason Jar with a handle is a design classic that’s a must-have in any bar with a Southern vibe.

Lynchburg Lemonade – the soda with character

The drink in the glass is one of the most famous whiskey long drinks of all time: Jack Daniel’s, Triple Sec, sour mix, and lemonade, plenty of ice, and a slice of lemon on top. Sparkling, lemony, and wonderfully smooth—the perfect alternative for anyone who finds neat whiskey too overpowering.

The name comes from Lynchburg, Tennessee, where the distillery is located. And that’s the best part of the story: Lynchburg is in Moore County—a dry county where strict alcohol restrictions still apply today. So the drink is named after a place where, strictly speaking, you can’t even order it at the bar.

Here’s why this set is a great choice

• 0.48 L – generously sized, with room for plenty of ice
• Sturdy handle —your hand won’t warm up the drink
• Black screw-top lid included—keeps wasps out and looks great
• Thick-walled glass with the classic mason jar look
• 6 glasses —perfect for garden parties, barbecue nights, or as a gift idea for whiskey lovers

Not just for cocktails

Mason jars are surprisingly versatile: iced tea and lemonade in the summer, smoothies for breakfast, layered desserts, overnight oats—and when no one’s looking, sometimes just plain water. The lid comes in handy when the jar is set aside for a moment or taken out onto the patio. Cheers!
