Balloon glass for gin

Looking for the perfect glass for gin and tonic or cocktails? You'll find just the right one in our shop. It makes a big difference whether you choose the right glass or just any old container for your drink.

Balloon glass with tradition

In the past, glasses were made with a lot of effort and love from raw materials such as sand. In principle, this is still the case today: the glassblower uses liquid raw glass to make a bulbous vessel. The larger the belly, the more the contents will develop their aroma later on. The size of the opening determines how much aroma remains inside or can escape upwards. When you smell a wide goblet, the aroma reaches your nose unimpeded, as it does with a trophy glass. If the opening is small and the belly large, the drink develops a mature bouquet.

Glasses with stems have style

Alcoholic beverages need to be kept cool or warmed up. If your glass has a long stem, the drink will remain unaffected by your body heat. A short stem, on the other hand, brings the glass closer to your hand and allows the aroma to unfold as you enjoy your drink.

Your gin glass for gin and tonic

How do you or your guests like your gin best? With tonic or neat? Would you like to enjoy an aromatic, citrusy cocktail? A balloon glass with a large volume, i.e. a thick belly, is ideal for this. Take your time and try a Copa glass, where your cocktail is open in front of your nose, the carbon dioxide from the tonic water escapes quickly, and you have enough "belly" for the spicy juniper character to develop. Spicy accompaniments, as the Spanish love them, come out particularly well.

Enjoy gin neat

The special gin glass is a narrow, yet bulbous balloon glass. The nosing glass has a small opening and looks delicate, but it packs a punch! This is because the aroma is concentrated and you can smell the irresistible scent with the finest notes. You can try several flavors and be amazed again and again. These glasses are a must-have for your bar.
